Mumu Already Had the Meme. Now It Is Building the Rights Stack.

The project starts with something most launches spend months trying to create: recognizable culture.

Many meme projects launch first and construct the identity afterward.

That approach can create short-term attention, but it does not create years of pre-token recognition.

There is a reason market writers keep using terms such as mindshare, rotation and social velocity around memecoins. The category is an attention market. Mumu enters that market with pre-existing lore, recognizability and a back catalog of community-created content rather than a mascot built after launch.

Mumu did not need to manufacture the character after launch.

The bull has been floating around trading culture since 2018, coming out of 4chan’s /biz/ ecosystem as the permanently bullish opposite of Bobo the Bear. People knew the character before the current token needed them to know the character.

That gives Mumu a distribution base most newly launched meme assets do not have.

The project is now formalizing the brand through trademark applications.

MUMU is listed by IP Australia as Application 2682039. The project also identifies MUMU THE BULL as Application 2682957. The project says the filings cover digital media and NFT-authenticated works, apparel and entertainment branding.

A trademark filing does not create demand and is not the same as a final registration.

What it does is give the project a credible path toward controlling the official brand identity around a character that already has history.

That opens obvious doors. Real merchandise instead of random print-on-demand copies. Licensing instead of handshakes. Media projects with a defined character owner. Better tools for dealing with impersonators. More confidence for partners who normally avoid memecoins because nobody can explain who actually controls anything.

Mumu is also building on Robinhood Chain at a time when the network is still forming its identity. Robinhood revealed the chain in 2025 and brought mainnet into the picture in July 2026.

The thesis combines pre-token recognition, early Robinhood Chain positioning and a formal brand strategy.

Execution still matters, particularly around distribution, licensing and community growth.

The relevant distinction is that the underlying character existed before the ticker.
